The Activity programs receive no government funding, and in order to permit everyone to participate, fees are kept to a minimum. These programs are organized and run by volunteers and financed through, fundraising events and generous donations from our supporters.

Activity Programs are open to anyone who is retired, is a senior, or would just like to join in for some fun. No Membership is required.

Held at the Opeongo Bowlodrome in Renfrew every Thursday. Starting time is 12:45 p.m. Transportation is available from other bowling participants. Bowling is scheduled through the months of September until June.
Thursday Evening Bridge Group is held at the Seniors' Centre. starting at 7:00 p.m. This activity is only scheduled during the summer months.
Craft workshops are scheduled from September through to June. Check our scheduled of events for our next craft workshop, or Call the Seniors' Centre at 628-2354.
Tuesday afternoon Euchre is held at the Seniors' Centre at 1:30 every week, and is held year round. Cost is only $2.00 per person. No need to bring a partner we change partners every week.
Friday Euchre is held the last Friday of each month at 2:00 pm. This is a fundraising event so the Cost is $3.00 per person.

Held only during the summer months at the Indian River Golf Course in Pembroke. Every Thursday at 8:30 am.
Scheduled throughout the months of September to June. Usually held Mondays from 10 am to 3pm. Bring your lunch. The instructor is Adrian Saba. A fee is paid to the instructor.

Parties are held various times throughout the year. Check our schedule of events for a listing. Ex: Christmas, Valentines, St. Patrick's Day.
Held every Monday morning at the Seniors' Centre throughout the months of September to June. The singing group also travels to Senior homes and residences to entertain.
Tai Chi is a gentle but effective way to exercise all the joints and muscles in the body, enabling people to feel better and more energetic.
Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. at the Seniors' Centre, September through June. A more relaxed group. There is a nominal fee once a month donated to the Seniors' Centre..

The walking group is not meeting at present, however, we could start up again if interest is present.
Interesting and Educational guest speakers often give workshops at the Seniors' Centre. Check the schedule of events for listings.
A variety of interesting and entertaining Bus trips are planned throughout the year, such as to; Hull Casino, Enchanted Gardens, Plowing Match, Boat Cruise, etc. Check the Schedule of Events to see what is coming up next.
The ceramics group meets, usually once a month, to work on a special seasonal project. Call the Seniors' Centre to find out when they will hold their next meeting. The cost varies, depending on what project they are working.
A beginners
Computer class is scheduled regularly throughout the year, usually held Thursday
mornings from 9 am to 10:15 am. Please call the Seniors' Centre to get
your name on the waiting list for the next class. There is no fee,
however, donations are always welcome. A volunteer instructor teaches
seniors computer basics at their own pace.
Computer club is not meeting at this time, however it could be restarted if requested. Held Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Graduates of the beginner computer classes and other computer enthusiasts get together to share their computer knowledge and explore new aspects of their computers. There is no fee for this group.
Floor Shuffleboard, held Monday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and again at 1:00 p.m. at the Eganville branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
A fun group that get together from time to time to do beading projects. Call the Seniors' Centre to find out when the next meeting will be.
A beginner group that get together Friday mornings at 9:30 a.m. to learn yoga. The are currently using a Yoga video and will graduate to more challenging videos as they learn. There is a nominal fee to participate. Please call the Seniors Centre for more information
