The Eganville & District Senior s is a charitable organization. Donations from Generous Supporters help us provide services throughout our community. The Eganville & District Seniors is a Charity and is pleased to issue charitable receipts for donations from individuals, organizations and local businesses.
Donations:Donations from individuals and local businesses are the backbone of the funding for the Eganville & District Seniors' wide variety of services and programs. Our generous donors not only make cash donations, but often donate items for our raffles and door prizes. The Eganville & District Seniors is also honored to receive memorial gifts and bequeaths. We have been very fortunate to receive ongoing financial support from local service agencies including the Eganville Rotary Club, Eganville Clothing Bank and Royal Canadian Legion. We are very grateful for their support of the important services we provide within our community.
Fundraising Events:Our Association is able to continue to provide services and activities thanks to our many fundraising volunteers and generous supporters. Our Fundraising Events Include: Spring Plant & Bake Sale - May Christmas Tea, and Craft & Bake Sale - November Monster Bingo - July Cash Raffle - Drawn in June - Tickets sold Oct. to June Fundraising Euchre Parties - last Friday of every month Book Sales - books available at the Seniors Centre all year Donation Request Letter Mail out - in late September Casino and Racetrack Bus trips
Nevada Ticket Sales:
We have been very fortunate to have local businesses sell Nevada tickets on our behalf for many years. We are currently looking for a ticket seller in the Eganville Area, and are pleased to announce that the Golden Lake Variety will be selling Nevada Tickets on our behalf.
Ministry of Health Funding:
Our Association is also fortunate to receive approximately 60% funding from the Ministry of Health, Long Term Care Division, for our 5 approved Community Support Services.
