This is the First Book in a series by Christian Writer, Theodore Beale, who has written the computer game this series is based on.  The story focuses on three siblings: Christopher Lewis and his twin sisters Holli and Jami.  All three teens have guardian angels who watch over them, but it is Christopher who comes under attack.  The forces of evil are on the move, and for some hidden reason they need Christopher.  With all that teen angst  Chris is an easy target for a charismatic demon, and his seductive cohorts.  

Chris and the demon Kaym meet with the Prince of Darkness, and plot their raid on heaven.  It is an exciting and fascinating take on the guardian angel motif, but it is written with an authentic fantasy writer's edge.  I really liked it, and I would recommend it to fantasy readers.

Book two The World in Shadow is due out in the Fall of 2001.
