Prior to the formation of the #10 North (Pembroke) Chapter,
the retirees in our area were members of the #10 South (Perth) Chapter.
******
During the latter part of 1995,
Brothers George Sullivan and Peter van Hoof, Pembroke, Ontario,
looked into the possibility of forming a Veterans' Chapter
located in the northern part of what was then known
as the # 10 District with the O.P.P. Headquarters
located in Perth, Ontario.
The first luncheon meeting took place at Fred's Restaurant, Chapeau, Quebec
on Wednesday, January 17th, 1996
and the Chapter was formed at that time.
Brother Sullivan was elected Chairman and Brother van Hoof was elected Secretary/treasurer for that year.
The Chapter subsequently received its
Charter in 1997.

Wear red on Fridays to show suppport for our troops.
Canadians who support our troops used to be called the "silent majority".
They are no longer silent and are voicing their love for God, country and home by showing
solidarity and support for our troops until they all come home.
Let's make Canada a sea of red by wearing something red every Friday to show support
to our Canadian Armed Forces.
