2002 Christmas Concert

Congratulations to all students and staff for a job very well done at the Christmas Concert on December 18. We promised to entertain….. and entertain we did!

The two musicals, Silent Night: Birth of a Carol, performed by Kindergarten to Grade 4, and an adaptation of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker, performed by grades 5 to 8, were well received by all who attended. The students appreciated the notes and phone calls that poured in from a variety of parents and grandparents of students in the school.

Special thanks to the following individuals for efforts above and beyond the call of duty:

  • The Drama Club: all 75 of them for their hours of work in learning lines and practicing dances

  • Student Choirs from all classes

  • Directors: Maureen Enright, Susie Pasch, John McSheffrey

  • Staff Volunteers: For preparing the students in advance, and for supervising our excited students on the night of the concert

  • Costume Designers: Catherine Robertson, Theresa Cybulski, Bev Moran, Judy Drouillard, Nancy Cameron, Tara Morris Margaret MacDonald

  • Chief Choreographer: Leona Armstrong

  • Dance Instructors: Lila Prince, Jeannie Armstrong, Crystal Smith, Loryn Gentle, Courtney Hisko, Jenny McLaughlin

  • Concert Photographer: Peter O'Rourke (check out the photos in our school lobby, or on our school website, or borrow the school CD prepared by Peter)

  • St. Joseph's High School: For graciously permitting us to use their wonderful facility

  • Our Appreciative Audiences: Donations of $914.55 were directed towards the purchase of new stage curtains for the S.T.A. Gymnasium.
