| NRTC Communications urges all internet
users to be vigilant regarding Spam and Virus threats. Please make sure you have
an Anti-virus program installed on your system and be sure to update your virus
definitions frequently. Be careful when opening e-mail attachments, especially
if you do not recognize the sender's name or e-mail address. Many viruses are
capable of disquising as valid e-mail. These messages will appear to come from
someone you know but will carry an attachment that is infected with the virus.
Be sure to scan all attachments before you open them. Configure your anti-virus
program to check incoming e-mail. If you are not sure how to do this consult your
manual or contact your anti-virus software vendor.
Make sure your operating system is updated regularly. Windows update should be
run at least once a week as Microsoft frequently releases updates that address
emerging security issues.
