What's New

Over the past few months we've noticed some issues with the picture quality of the ABC and CW channels provided in your NRTC TV package. While we've tried to resolve the issues, the problems originate with the broadcasting stations, and we've been unable to correct them to our satisfaction.

We want you to experience the best quality possible on NRTC TV, and to achieve that we've switched ABC and The CW channels to more reliable sources. The ABC channel numbers have not changed but will now originate from Detroit. The CW will now originate from New York City and will be on channel 183. National programming for these channels should be identical, meaning that for the most part you'll see the same national network shows at the same times you always have. Local programming, such as local news, will now be coming from the new station locations.

IMPORTANT: If you have recordings scheduled on your PVR for ABC or The CW channels, you will need to make adjustments so you don't miss anything:

ABC channels: Although your ABC channels did not change numbers, you must set up your PVR recordings again, now that the new channels are broadcasting. Simply delete any pre-scheduled recordings from your recording list, and recreate them as new.

The CW channels: Any programs which you had scheduled to record on The CW (formerly channels 160 and 1160) need to be deleted and re-entered to record on channel 183 effective immediately.

No other channels are affected by this change, and programs already recorded and stored on your PVR will stay put. As always, if you need any assistance or have any questions about using NRTC TV, we're happy to help. Call us at 1-800-407-3387.

We hope you continue to enjoy your NRTC TV experience. As always, let us know if you have any questions or comments.
